Queen's Golden Jubilee Award
To mark
the occasion of the Golden Jubilee Her Majesty the
Quee n
created this new Annual Award to recognise the vital
role played by the thousands of voluntary and community
groups from throughout the United Kingdom and to emphasise
the importance of continuing recognition of their
work.
The Lambeth Summer Projects Trust was proud to be
a recipient of this prestigious Award on the inaugural
year.
Only
200 Awards were made nationwide and the Trust was
one of just 20 London groups chosen to receive the
Award.
The
Award was presented to the Lambeth Summer Projects
at the House of Lords.
The Lambeth Summer Projects Trust featured on the
front page of the local newspaper 'The Post' with
an article on the Queen's Jubilee Award.
